Warehouse Pants Quality Inspection
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
A new batch of pants has just arrived in our warehouse and I need a thorough on-site inspection before they are cleared for distribution. Your focus will be exclusively on pants; shirts and dresses are not part of this job.
During the visit please assess three key areas:
• Fabric quality – check for color consistency, hand-feel, pulls, stains or weaving defects.
• Stitching – verify seam strength, straightness and absence of loose threads.
• Zippers and buttons – confirm smooth operation, correct alignment and secure attachment.
You are free to follow your preferred quality-control methodology, though an AQL 2.5 sampling plan or similar benchmark is ideal. Normal tools of the trade—digital camera or phone for photos, tape measure, light table, magnifier—are expected.
Deliverables
1. A concise inspection report (PDF or Excel) summarizing sample size, findings and pass/fail judgment.
2. Clear, well-lit photos of any defects and a representative overview of the inspected cartons.
3. Recommendations for acceptance, rework or rejection.
Timing is flexible but sooner is better; the goods cannot ship until the report is complete.
