Volunteer Strategy & Handbook for Woodland Trust Events

As the newly appointed Events Coordinator for the Woodland Trust, I am tasked with designing a comprehensive Volunteer Handbook and preparing an accompanying report for our upcoming event. This project will entail:
A. Crafting a detailed, engaging, and informative Volunteer Handbook suitable for both new and experienced volunteers in both digital eBook and printable PDF formats.
B. Compiling a report that encapsulates:
1. An introduction detailing the mutual benefits of volunteering to the organization and the individuals involved.
2. An outline of the specific job roles and specifications for our volunteers.
3. A rationale justifying the content and structure of the Volunteer Handbook.
4. A Gantt Chart laying out the timeline and tasks for our volunteer programme.
5. A conclusion with suggestions for the future enhancement of the volunteer programme.
Ideal candidates for this project should have a strong background in event coordination and volunteer management, excellent writing skills, and experience in creating engaging handbooks and reports. A deep understanding of the values and mission of the Woodland Trust would be a significant asset.
