We are seeking a licensed structural engineer in Louisiana to perform an on-site inspection of a residential/multifamily building.

There is significant visible structural damage involving multiple load-bearing components, including:

Rotted second-floor floor joists

Severely rotted double header above a window

Rotted vertical support studs

Rotted sill plate on footer

Window assembly separating from structure

Scope of work:

Site visit and structural assessment

Written report with findings

Repair recommendations and stamped letter/report suitable for contractors and ownership

Requirements:

Licensed structural engineer in Louisiana

Experience with wood-frame structures and rot/water damage

Ability to visit site within the next few days
