Check Out DFW, a website that covers real estate and communities across North Dallas, is seeking freelancers to provide government coverage in a few of our coverage areas.
Check Out DFW, which launched in November 2021, provides helpful content for those who are thinking about moving, have moved and for those who want to stay in the loop on what’s happening in their community.
The site focuses on real estate trends, insights and advice that helps readers navigate the real estate space. Check Out DFW covers more than a half dozen communities by providing content in areas like schools, business and real estate development and things to do.
We’re seeking freelancers to help cover government meetings in a few of our key towns. This would include city council and planning and zoning meetings that would be covered on a consistent basis.
The coverage we’re seeking is primarily around housing and business development in each of our key communities.
Candidates should have some experience covering cities either through professional experience or internships.
