Safety Hazard Detection Expert

Conduct onsite site safety observation in Forest Park IL, with the client's construction manager, setting aside 4 to 6 hours for each visit. The first visit should happen between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. The goal is to find and write down any possible safety issues that are seen on-site. Sort the results into concerns about behavior and compliance, and make suggestions for how the client, the contractors, and the owners can all do a better job. Set aside one to two hours for possible follow-up talks, if they're needed. We're looking for a skilled freelancer who specializes in safety oversight to do full safety checks at one of our operational sites. The goal is to find hazards and report on them, along with detailed analyses and suggestions for lowering risks. Every Thursday, the on-site is held once a week. This person will work with the owner and client safety teams. Must be able to talk to people clearly and get teams to work together during meetings. Consistency is key The project will last until October 2025.
What skills and experience are needed?
Shown experience with safety checks or observations, preferably in manufacturing or construction settings.

Skill at writing thorough and easy-to-understand safety reports.
