3-Page Pump & Impeller Report

Job ID: 40025750

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a concise, well-structured three-page technical report that introduces the main pump families to a general-interest reader, then dives a little deeper into centrifugal pumps and the impeller types that make them work. Keep the language accessible—no heavy jargon—but accurate enough to satisfy someone who wants to understand how these machines move fluids.

Scope
• Page one should set the scene: what pumps do, the broad categories they fall into, and why design differences matter.
• Pages two and three focus on centrifugal pumps—working principle, common sub-types, and a clear explanation of impeller variations (radial, mixed-flow, open vs. closed, and any other key designs worth noting). Briefly acknowledge that positive-displacement and axial-flow pumps exist so readers see the wider landscape, but don’t let them steal the spotlight.

Research & Tone
Draw on reputable engineering handbooks, manufacturer datasheets, or peer-reviewed sources; cite where needed in a simple reference list. Write in an engaging, magazine-style tone—think “popular science” rather than textbook—so the material is digestible for the curious layperson.

Delivery
PDF or Word file is fine. I’m working with a hard deadline of 20 hours from contract acceptance, so please commit only if you can hit that window. My budget is capped at $30, all-inclusive.

Send a quick outline with your bid so I can see we’re on the same wavelength before you start writing.
