Project: Enhance and Expand ASP.NET Web Application (FACTory Opportunity)
We are looking for a talented and experienced developer to continue enhancing The FACTory Opportunity web application, along with its supporting service apps.
Key Areas for Improvement:
-User Authentication
-Enhance security and streamline the login/registration flow.
-Data Visualization
-Improve how KPIs and downtime metrics are presented for better usability and insight.
-Report Generation:-Optimize and expand report creation tools to increase accuracy and flexibility.
New Features to Implement:
-Real-Time Updates: Deliver instant, auto-refreshing data to users as events happen.
-Advanced Analytics: Integrate deeper analytical tools for manufacturing efficiency, downtime patterns, and operational insights.
Technical Environment:
-Framework: ASP.NET (.NET Framework 4.8)
-IDE: Visual Studio 2019
-Database: SQL Server 2016 hosted on Microsoft Azure
-ORM: Entity Framework 6.0.0.0
-BI & UI Tools: DevExpress V21.2.11 (heavy use of BI dashboards and reporting)
We currently support three user roles: Master-Admin, Admin, and User, each with specific access privileges. The application uses Entity Framework for all database activity.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-Strong experience with ASP.NET (Web Forms or MVC) and Azure SQL
-Familiar with authentication protocols like Twilio, OAuth, JWT, etc.
-Skilled in data visualization and interactive dashboards (DevExpress preferred)
-Capable of implementing real-time features (e.g., SignalR)
-Proven experience in analytics integration and report automation
Bonus: Performance tuning and user interface refinement

To augment the app's capabilities, improve performance, and extend its value as a powerful tool for monitoring and optimizing manufacturing operations.
