Bangkok Factory Inspection & Import

Job ID: 40313387

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

I will be in the process of importing a shipment from a manufacturer located in one of Bangkok’s industrial zones and need an experienced local professional to stand in for me on-site. The assignment has two parts: first, attend a scheduled meeting at the company’s office; second, carry out a same-day inspection of their production facility.

During the factory visit you will:
• Perform hands-on quality control on random samples from the batch I intend to purchase.
• Verify stated inventory levels against what is physically on the floor and in the warehouse.
• Check that basic Thai and international safety standards are being observed on the production line and in storage areas.
• Remain alert to any signs of scam or fraudulent behavior, documenting anything that looks irregular.

Deliverables I expect within 24 hours of the inspection:
1. A concise report (English) covering the meeting summary, QC findings, inventory count, and safety observations.
2. 20-30 timestamped photos and, where helpful, short video clips.
3. Copies of any documents the factory provides (COA, packing list, certifications, etc.).
4. Your personal recommendation on whether to proceed with the order exactly as is, proceed with conditions, or halt.
5. copy of certificates DOT, ECE, BUSNIESS REGESTRAION, EXPORT CERTIFICATION

Fluency in Thai and English is essential; familiarity with import paperwork and Bangkok industrial estates will be a big plus. Bring a smartphone or camera for evidence gathering and be ready to scan or photograph documents on the spot. If you can commit to a one-day visit this coming week and turn the report around quickly, I would like to hear how you would approach the inspection.
