Acoustic Engineering for Rock Excavation Monitoring
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I'm looking for an experienced acoustic engineer to undertake a key role in a survey monitoring program for a rock excavation project, set to occur at a residence in Bondi Junction. This project is expected to span less than 1 month and your responsibilities will include the following:
- Perform continuous noise monitoring throughout the duration of the project to ensure compliance with regulation and standards.
- Work in a residential, potentially coastal, environment comfortably and effortlessly.
A crucial part of this role involves having a good understanding of the types of noise produced during rock excavation work and the ability to distinguish between different noise levels accurately. Candidates with prior experience in continuous noise monitoring, particularly in similar environments, will be highly considered. A comprehensive understanding of local noise regulation and standards is a must-have.
