Training help with creating SSRS reports using Visual Studio
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can provide training assistance with creating SSRS reports using Visual Studio. I have not been able to find any useful documentation on this use of Visual Studio. We are experienced users of Visual Studio for other languages but need some help with a few aspects of SSRS reports,
We have created twenty or so reports in Visual Studio, so creating the reports themselves is not a problem. The features unique to SSRS are what is giving us problems.
Configuration Manager - this feature appears to have numerous bugs or I just don't understand how it is supposed to work. I have ended up maintaining the rsproj file in NotePad++ because the Configuration Manager does not appear to work well.
I also do not understand how Data Sources and Shared Data Sources are supposed to work. I end up having to copy RDS files to \bin\Release folders because Visual Studio put them in the wrong place.
