Establishing a Biofuels development, asset management and trading platform

We are a rapidly growing commodity trading and asset management business, with offices globally and a portfolio that includes transportation, processing and storage assets. Much of funding has been raised by launching commodity related funds given our asset management experience. We have spent several years identifying biofuel opportunities – (corn fed) bio-refineries to develop, sugar facilities to retrofit, used cooking oil supply chains. We are looking for experience and expertise in this field to contribute to the following tasks and areas of responsibility:

- Develop a business plan for a new biofuels vertical considering profitability and integration of different aspects of the supply chain across different feedstocks
- Draft and produce a white paper for the biofuels industry and the specific projects we have identified for an institutional investment audience;
- Develop a sustainability model which calculates the carbon emissions saved and ESG benefits more broadly;
- Review existing and contribute towards new financial models for the biofuels businesses and facilities;
- Bring project management experience to managing and overseeing the development of new biofuels facilities;
- Bring financial controlling/accounting experience to the stewardship of the biofuels platform.
