Weekly 3D Documentary Animator
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m expanding my six-person production crew and need two full-time 3D animators who can deliver one fully-animated documentary episode every week. Everything we create is built in Maya, so you’ll need solid command of that toolset from blocking and character rigging right through to final lighting and rendering.
Our stories mix character-driven moments with sweeping environmental shots and the occasional abstract sequence to visualise complex ideas. You’ll receive an approved script, storyboard and audio track each Monday; by Friday we need a polished video plus the project files so the editing and sound teams can wrap over the weekend.
For clarity, the weekly hand-off includes:
• Final rendered video (4K and 1080p)
• blender project folder with organised scene files, textures and caches
If you thrive on tight turnarounds, enjoy switching between emotive character work and atmospheric environment shots, and can collaborate smoothly with modelers, sound designers and editors, I’d love to see your reel.
