Technical Drawing & Specification Binder Support
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m an interior designer juggling several residential projects and I’d like to hand off the production side so I can stay focused on concept and client meetings. Your core assignment is to turn my sketches, mood boards, and mark-ups into polished technical documentation, then compile a clear, professional specification binder.
Primary focus
The spotlight is on the specification binder rather than elaborate plan sets. I will supply room schedules, inspirational imagery, and rough notes; you’ll translate them into an organised document that contractors and vendors can follow without guesswork.
Binder content I need
• Materials and finishes – with product codes, supplier info, installation notes, and any sustainability certifications I provide.
• Lighting specifications – fixture schedules, lamp types, cut-sheets, and load summaries where relevant.
Typical workflow
1. We kick off with a 30-minute video call so I can walk you through the project and Dropbox folder structure.
2. You draft the binder in InDesign (or similar) and create any supporting CAD details needed for clarity.
3. I return red-line comments; you refine and deliver the final PDF along with native files.
Acceptance criteria
– Consistent graphic standards (fonts, title blocks, page numbering) matching my existing template.
– All products cross-referenced to plan call-outs or elevations when included.
– Final binder ready to print at A4 and share digitally under 10 MB.
If you’re comfortable jumping between AutoCAD/Revit for drawings and Adobe InDesign for layout, and you’re meticulous about spelling and data accuracy, let’s collaborate.
