Robot Declare VFX & CGI Production
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am putting together “Robot Declare”, a full-length robot movie that relies heavily on eye-catching VFX and CGI. The heart of the brief is believable robotic movements and on-screen transformations; every bolt, servo and panel should feel physically grounded when it shifts, morphs or deploys.
For this I need:
• Fully-rigged, production-ready 3D models of the hero robot (and a small supporting roster) suitable for close-ups and action shots.
• Supporting CGI effects— simple vex I will include in conversations—integrated into the animation passes.
• Final rendered sequences or EXR layers that slot straight into the edit.
I am comfortable whether you build in Maya, Blender, Houdini or a hybrid pipeline, as long as you can hand over clean project files plus the rendered frames. Compositing in Nuke or After Effects is a bonus if you want to take shots all the way to final.
Time frame is tight: everything has to be wrapped less than 2 months, so please be ready to show early playblasts or grey-shaded turntables in week one, followed by iterative approvals up to final render.
Acceptance criteria
• Transformations read clearly at 24 fps with zero mesh intersections.
• Lighting and materials match the LUT I will provide.
• Delivered files open without missing textures or plug-ins.
If you thrive on mechanical animation and can move quickly without sacrificing polish, I would love to see your reel and talk through the shot list.
