Redesign Product for Optimal 3D Printing
I am looking for a skilled designer to help me redesign a product for optimal 3D printing. The current design file format is in DXF. The 3D printing material that will be used is PLA. The thickness needs to be .125. The ideal candidate should have experience with designing for 3D printing and be familiar with PLA material properties. Currently having issues with the overhang pieces. Sample photos of the issues can be provided. I have attached the photo of the product as it is it currently designed.
Requirements:
- Redesign the product for optimal 3D printing
- Ensure the product meets structural requirements
- Use the specified file format and PLA material
- Provide a design that is printable on commonly used 3D printers
Skills:
- 3D design experience
- Knowledge of PLA material properties
- Ability to create designs that meet structural requirements
- Familiarity with alternative file formats
