Realistic 3D Short Film Animation

I’m putting together a short, entertainment-focused film that leans heavily on photoreal 3D work. The story is already locked; what I need now is a skilled animator who can bring believable characters, lifelike environments and cinematic camera work to the screen. Think feature-quality realism rather than stylised or abstract visuals.

You’ll receive a complete storyboard, reference footage, voice tracks and timing sheets. I’m open on your choice of software—Blender, Maya, Houdini or a similar high-end toolset is fine so long as the final look lands in the realm of realism.

Key milestones
• Pre-vis / blocking for approval
• Final animation passes with lighting, simulation and FX
• 4K renders with clean alpha (where relevant) plus all source project files

Acceptance criteria
• Motion reads naturally at 24 fps with no visible clipping or collision errors
• Lighting and textures are consistent with the live-action grade reference I’ll provide
• Final shots delivered in EXR or ProRes 4444, ready for my editor to drop straight onto the timeline
