Ratchet Belt Buckle design (Urgent need freelancer now NO agencies)

Pretty simple and stright to the point... we are looking for an experienced designer that can help create our own ratchet belt buckle so it does not infringe on any patented designs.

Are you familiar with ratchet belts and have you made anything similar with moving part, functionality and durability?

Here is a belt we have. We want to make it different. Supposedly this buckle is already in use with another brand so we are needing a new version. We would like to have a buckle that operates the same on the back end (not the same as the one pictured) but when its time to create a new buckle we just change the face and the back side still operates the same. Hopefully that makes sense.

Here is a different buckle of ours but you see the back end is the same as the black buckle but different buckle on the front.
