Modern Farmhouse Pantry Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a design to improve my deep, narrow pantry under the staircase. The space slopes dramatically from front to back, making it hard to use, so I'm looking for a design that maximizes usability and balances bulk goods storage.
Requirements:
- Fit within the existing structure
- Simple to build (I am a beginner woodworker with access to a table saw, circular saw, router, drill, and orbital sander)
- Modern farmhouse style (ish)
- Combination of movable and fixed shelves
Your ideas could include:
- Vertical pull-out shelves (about 3.5 feet of pull room)
- Recessed door with frequently used items on shelves, hinging open to access bulk items in the back
Completed design should include, at a minimum, visual mock-up and exploded view with measurements so that I can assemble on my own.
