McSwain Patio/Carport

I am new to this and am not sure if the budget range I was asked about was for the project or just the design and plans. I assumed it was for design and plans. I am looking for someone to help me build a custom patio/carport of about 1,308 square feet over existing concrete. The purpose of this project is to provide shade for vehicles and an outdoor seating area. I have no plans for this structure, but I have ideas and I am open to ideas. I would like the patio/carport to be made out of metal roof and wood framing. I do have a site plan. I must be very cost conscious and basically want a minimalist structure that will get a City of Houston permit. If you have experience working on custom outdoor projects and believe you can help create a comfortable, attractive, and durable patio/carport, please let me know!
