Maya Animator for Cat Character

Job ID: 40550291

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

We need an experienced Maya animator to bring a rigged cat character to life using provided video references. This is a short, focused job with three core animation cycles, ideal for someone who can match reference footage closely and deliver clean, usable output fast.

Scope of Work:
Animate 3 sequences on a pre-rigged cat model (rig link provided on award): Walking, Jumping, Playing
Each sequence runs ~5 seconds, with some extending to 10–20 seconds based on reference complexity
Animation must closely replicate the motion, weight, and timing shown in supplied video references
Style: semi-realistic, photoreal lighting context (rooftop hero shot) — naturalistic animal movement, not stylized/cartoony
Deliver clean export files (.mb/.ma and FBX) compatible with standard render pipelines

Acceptance Criteria:
Motion accurately mirrors the provided reference footage (gait, weight shift, contact timing)
No foot sliding, clipping, or rig-breaking poses
Smooth, consistent arcs and spacing — no robotic or floaty motion
Final files organized and properly named, with clean keyframes (no leftover test animation)
One round of revisions included if motion doesn't match reference closely enough

Timeline:
Full delivery within 7 days of award.

To Apply:
Please share a demo reel or similar animal/character animation work in Maya. Applications without samples won't be considered.
