Logo, character and space vehicles design.
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am launching a brand that will sell accessories and apparel geared to the e_sccoters users, and I am looking for a graphic designer or illustrator to collaborate on our logo and other needs that I will try to describe.
Ideally we want to establish a long term collaboration because we will be launching new designs as we go. At this point we are starting small and testing the market.
We need a logo and 3 to 5 designs to be printed to start out with. These are to be printed into different materials so some limitations apply like minimum thickness of lines. Also we don’t think that photo-realistic renders are the ideal choice, but they can be vectorised to have a more solid color, vector, like composition.
The look we are interested is between retro-futurism and just clean minimalist/proper/« apple » world. We have many (perhaps too many) references. We also have a gut feeling that a comic book superhero look might work quite well.
We will be telling a story pretty much like a comic book over years as new designs and products come out. The story is being written, just a few lines so far. The printed images will be part of the comic book. This will require the creation of human characters and their world. It’s set in the future when Humans start interplanetary travel and exploration in our solar system. The story starts with a mining/cargo ship and small crew as they attempt to get samples of ice and rock from Saturns’ rings fot the first time ever.
But, to bring it down to it’s basics, apart from the logo, these 3 to 5 images will require at least one « astronaut/miner » caracter that is the brand ambassador, a ship and his personal means of transportation outside the cargo ship (with is really important part of the brand as well). His means of transportation is a an e_scooter that can fly. The name of the brand is actually sort of the nickname of the character.
The ideal collaborator has to have a record of developing space ships, or futuristic architecture, have a comic book sense and willing to think in long term partnership. We are looking for real iconic imagery.
