Log Cabin Post-Frame Blueprint
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
In this project, I need a comprehensive blueprint for a post frame addition to a single-family log cabin. The key objective of this extension is to increase the living space.
- Scope of the Project: post frame building will be 32'wide x 48' long x20' tall. 4/12 pitch truses. Wet set bracket foundation system for 3 ply 4x6 posts. 1st floor will be a full subfloor sytem using tgi floor joists. There will be a 2nd story 6'x30' free span cat walk leading to a 18'x32' loft area. Will be exposed faster metal roof & board and batton metal siding. 1/2" osb on just walls. Trusses will be 8' o.c.
- Required Expertise: The ideal freelancer for this project would be an architect or a blueprint designer with an established portfolio exhibiting residential properties, particularly log cabins and post-frame additions. Familiarity with modern rustic design would be a plus.
- Project Deliverables: The final deliverables would be the blueprints, including floor plans, plumbing and electrical map, and 3D model, if possible. This should be appropriately sized and to code for residential property.
