Industrial Designer for Prototype Refinement
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I have a prototype that was mainly designed for 3D printing and functionality testing. I need an industrial designer who can take this prototype to the next level. This includes preparing the design for Injection Moulding and greatly enhancing and refining the current model.
The project requires the following enhancements:
- Improved aesthetics: The design needs to be refined and aesthetically improved to make it ready for production.
- Optimization of functionality: The current prototype works, but one particular feature needs optimization.
- Prepare for Injection Moulding: The designer needs to ensure that the design is suitable for Injection Moulding, making it production-ready.
The ideal freelancer for this project should have:
- Quick turn around times, ideally 48 hours between feedback and revision.
- Proven experience in industrial design, particularly working with product prototypes.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both aesthetics and functionality enhancements in similar projects.
- Expertise in preparing designs for Injection Moulding, with a good understanding of materials and their properties.
The desired timeline for completing this project is 1 week. The final product is intended to be made out of UV resistant plastics. Single piece injection mould.
We have an NDA prepared to be signed, at which point we can share STEP Files.
