3D Jewelry Designer (CAD) for Luxury "Iced Out" Hip-Hop Brand – Custom Pendants & Rings
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We are INSTARAW, a new high-end jewelry brand launching to a community of 20,000+ members. We are looking for a talented 3D Jewelry Designer & CAD Specialist to become our long-term partner in creating heavy, "iced out" hip-hop jewelry (pendants, Cuban links, and rings).
We have the manufacturing partner ready; we need YOU to create the manufacture-ready CAD files and photorealistic 3D renders for our website.
THE FIRST PROJECT:
We need a custom text-based pendant reading: "INSTARAW".
- Style: Fully iced out (pave/prong set).
- Vibe: Heavy, thick, luxury streetwear. Similar to designs seen on high-end rappers/celebrities.
- Materials to simulate: 925 Silver & 14k Gold paired with Moissanite & Lab-Grown Diamonds.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design & Modeling: Create 3D models based on our sketches and logo.
2. Technical CAD: Ensure the design is 3D-printable and castable. You must understand shrinkage rates, prong thickness, and stone spacing so the stones do not fall out during manufacturing.
3. Rendering: Provide high-quality, photorealistic video/image renders (KeyShot or similar) that look like real diamonds/moissanite (we need to see the "fire").
4. Consultation: Advise us on metal weight (grams) and stone sizes to keep production costs efficient while maintaining a "heavy" feel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert proficiency in Matrix, Rhino, ZBrush, or JewelCAD.
- Portfolio Required: You MUST share examples of "iced out" / pave-set jewelry you have designed. If you only show simple rings, you will not be considered.
- Understanding of manufacturing constraints (925 Silver vs. Gold properties).
- Ability to export files in .STL and .3DM formats for our factory.
