Detailed East Asia Navigation Charts
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need fresh, high-detail navigation charts covering the Korean Peninsula, coastal China, the main Japanese archipelagos, and the Russian Far East. The end use is precise marine navigation, so I expect depth soundings, updated shoreline data, aids to navigation, restricted zones, shipping lanes, and current port layouts to be mapped with professional-grade accuracy.
Source material can include recent hydrographic surveys, ENC data, and authoritative local notices to mariners; however, everything must be compiled into a single, consistent chart style that can be delivered both as printable PDFs (A0 or similar) and as layered, geo-referenced files compatible with common ECDIS and GIS platforms (GeoTIFF or S-57 preferred).
Information on tides, current direction depth and speed for all four seasons.
Deliverables
• Four standalone navigation charts: Korea, China coast, Japan, Russia Far East
• One consolidated East-Asia overview sheet for route planning
• All working files and metadata for verification
Acceptance criteria
The charts should meet “High detail for precise navigation” standards, pass a cross-check of critical depths and aids against the latest Notices to Mariners, and open without errors in QGIS and OpenCPN.
