Detailed 3D Assembly Model Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a multi-component mechanism that now needs to move from concept to an accurate, production-ready digital model. The job covers three closely linked tasks in SolidWorks: high-fidelity 3D modelling and rendering, product design refinement for prototyping, and a full assembly with motion analysis as the core deliverable.
Here is what I will provide at the outset: handwritten sketches, key dimensions, an exploded view reference, and the functional requirements for each moving part. From these inputs I expect a fully parametric SolidWorks assembly. Every part should be modelled to a high level of detail, complete with textures, materials, and realistic appearances suitable for client-facing visuals. Once the entire assembly is built, run a motion study that demonstrates range of movement, potential interferences, and reaction forces; include an exported animation of the study and a concise report of the findings.
Acceptance criteria
• Native SolidWorks files (parts, assembly, and motion study) organised in a clear folder structure
• High-resolution renders (PNG or JPEG) showing the product at key angles and in exploded view
• MP4 or AVI animation of the motion analysis plus a short PDF summarising results
• All files must open without errors in SolidWorks 2022 or later
Accuracy is critical because these models will feed directly into prototyping, so tolerances and mating conditions must reflect real-world constraints. Throughout the process, keep an open communication line—brief updates at major milestones help me stay aligned with your progress and let me flag any design changes early.
