3D Character Modeler Needed – PS2 Style (Approx. 5,700 Polygons) with Profit Share

Job ID: 39691996

Budget: €8 – €2,409 EUR

I’m looking for a skilled 3D artist to create a game-ready character in a classic PlayStation 2 aesthetic, suitable for a first-person psycho-horror game. The character should have a low-poly count (~5,700 polygons) and capture the nostalgic PS2-era look, similar in style to characters from that generation.

Character Appearance:
• The character is a young man with a medium-dark skin tone.
• Facial features are moderately detailed and softly defined: broad, expressive eyes; a warm yet intense expression; cheekbones and jawline are present but gently rounded and not sharply angular.
• He sports a slightly longer buzz cut—still short and neat but with enough length to soften the head’s silhouette and add subtle texture.
• The body is simple and basic in shape—minimal detail and musculature, with the main focus clearly on the face.

Technical Requirements:
• Polygon count: ~5,700 polygons to keep the PS2-style low-poly look.
• Textures: low-resolution, around 512x512 pixels, capturing that retro, slightly pixelated feel with hand-painted or simple diffuse textures.
• File format: .fbx, compatible with Unreal Engine.
• Clean topology and UV mapping are mandatory.
• Optional: Basic rigging for idle and walk animations.

Deliverables:
• Final .fbx character model.
• Texture files (.png or .tga).
• Optional rig + basic animations (idle, walk).

Budget and Timeline:
• Budget: negotiable.
• Delivery time: 2–3 weeks.

Application:
Please provide portfolios showcasing low-poly or retro-style characters, preferably with a PS2-era vibe.
