CAD Conversion of House Plans
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need two complete sets of hand-drawn Altadena-Eaton Fire Rebuild plans converted into clean, print-ready CAD files.
Project one combines a 1,751 sq ft single-story residence with a 1,200 sq ft ADU, while project two covers a 1,231 sq ft single-story home plus a 20 × 20 (400 sq ft) two-car garage. The County of Los Angeles will review these drawings, so every line must land within a fraction of an inch.
You will re-draft the full architectural package—floor plans, sections, elevations, and a site plan—then supply both the editable CAD originals and PDFs ready for electronic submittal.
Precision is critical in:
• Measurements and dimensions
• Architectural details
• Structural elements
I will provide high-resolution scans and annotated Acrobat files; everything else comes from your CAD expertise. Once these two packages are approved, I’d like to keep working together on future projects, so consistency and clear layer naming matter just as much as accuracy.
Deliverables per project
1. .DWG (or equivalent) file set with proper layering and scale
2. PDF sheets formatted to County submission standards
3. A brief change log noting any assumptions or clarifications
Drawings that pass plan-check the first time will be the benchmark of success and the start of an ongoing collaboration.
