Blender Terrain Bake and Export for Unity3D with Tutorial or Python Script

Job ID: 38697817

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

Project Description:

I have a few terrain created in Blender and one of them need to be baked as it appears in the viewport and prepared for use in Unity3D. I converted mesh, texture and uvmap from my old game to Blender but I am having trouble on shaders. The task involves baking the terrain with all the textures and details intact, ensuring it's optimized and ready to be imported into Unity3D. Added a screenshot of the shading editor in Blender for reference. I want to see the exact view on Unity too. We are talking about a simple terrain texture with two layers. I want these layers to flow smoothly over each other. I was able to do this with the Blender Mix color node, but I cannot export the material to the unity3d. That's why I won't say no to additional suggestions. If the developer and I are mutually satisfied, I may give more work on other tasks in the project.

Requirements:

Bake the terrain in Blender, maintaining the viewport appearance.
Provide the final baked terrain as a file ready to be used in Unity3D.
Document the entire process either as a step-by-step tutorial or provide a Python script that automates the process.
The tutorial/script should be easy to follow so that I can replicate the process in future projects.

Deliverables:

The baked fbx terrain file ready for Unity3D.
A detailed tutorial or Python script that explains how the process was done.
The goal is to learn how to bake terrains in Blender for use in Unity3D and apply this to my other 39 zone terrains.
