3D Animator for Tokyo Shadow

Job ID: 40509346

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

Tokyo Shadow is moving from storyboard to screen and I’m ready to hand the motion work to a skilled 3D Animator who can breathe life into our characters, environments, and action beats. All concepts, storyboards, and reference videos are already in place; what I need now is your expertise turning them into polished, production-ready animations that capture the stylised, neon-lit tone of the project.

Here’s what will make this collaboration successful:

• You’re comfortable taking keyframe notes and timing sheets, blocking out the action, refining splines, and delivering clean, final animation loops or sequences in FBX (or a similarly common) format.
• You can work with existing rigs in Maya or Blender and aren’t afraid to offer rig-fix suggestions if something feels off.
• You’re organised enough to version your files, name takes properly, and keep the scene hierarchy tidy so our dev pipeline remains smooth.
• You can hop on a quick call or leave clear video notes when feedback is needed—communication is vital for hitting the right style and tempo.

For each scene or character set I’ll provide:

• The rig and model (or proxy)
• Camera angles and rough timing
• Style references and mood clips

In return I’ll need:

• Playblast previews for review
• Final polished animation files plus any baked caches
• A concise hand-off note describing any special constraints or tips for the dev team

If you thrive on expressive, high-energy 3D animation and want to see your work front-and-centre in Tokyo Shadow, let’s get started.
