River Channel Shifting Analysis of Ganga River

This map illustrates the spatio-temporal shift of river channels in the Lower Ganga Basin, West Bengal, over the past four decades (1985-2024). Using Remote Sensing & GIS, I have analyzed the migration of river courses to understand the patterns of erosion, deposition, and long-term hydrological changes.
