Groundwater Modeling and Mapping Specialist
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for an experienced hydrogeologist, preferably with prior exposure in groundwater modeling and mapping from remote sensing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing an accurate groundwater model
- Implementing map design derived from remote sensing
Main Purpose:
The main task to accomplish is groundwater mapping from remote sensing data primarily; the further scope of work may also involve aquifer testing and water sampling & analysis.
Data Availability:
For this project, Client - UNICEF can provide you with satellite imagery data to aid in your mapping tasks.
Ideal applicants should demonstrate:
- Proficiency in groundwater modeling
- Strong experience in remote sensing for groundwater mapping
- Ability to interpret satellite imagery data
- Background in aquifer testing and water sampling & analysis will be advantageous
