Data merge and clean project
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
This project involves creating a secure web program on US servers since it will contain protected health information. The input to the program are several Excel spreadsheets with various patient and insurance data. The insurance data was entered by the patients themselves and is inherently inaccurate. Our objective of this program is ultimately to clean the data and get a high reliability index of data back out. There will be 3-4 input files (Excel) and a short list of "rules" will be submitted with the project.
The programmer needs to develop a web app that our billing team can use to (1) call up a patient by last name and DOB and find all the input lines associated with that patient and (2) export the final database to an Excel file on the user's desktop.
The person taking on this job must have experience with a relational database and Excel and also understand how to use "SoundEx" to find approximate matches. The rules engine will help compensate for user error when the data was first created.
Candidates who are interested will need to speak to our COO and demonstrate capability and skills to get this job done.
We need the job done in a short amount of time because we cannot file the claims to our insurance companies without having "clean" data first.
