Collections Database

Project will build on an existing 4D database used for collections management of fungal specimens. This is a relational database storing information about taxonomy of fungi and hosts, collection metadata (location, date, collector, expert identification), and managing storage or specimens. This project will develop more advanced search capabilities, functions for import and export of data in specified formats, and a pipeline for tracking ordering information and status. Future development will develop and integrate these to a web-interface.
