Demand Forecasting Tool Enhancement

I'm seeking an expert to enhance our Demand Forecasting Tool for the pharmaceutical sector. We currently use Time Series models (ARIMA, Prophet, ETS) for initial forecasts, with Prophet yielding the highest accuracy. These forecasts serve as a baseline for our Reinforcement Learning (RL) model, which aims to improve accuracy daily and develop a continuous learning system.
My existing Supervised Learning (SL) and RL models face challenges with high variability in new datasets, particularly inconsistent prediction accuracy.
Key tasks include:
- Adjusting parameters and the reward function for consistency across all datasets
- Ensuring the model adapts and learns continuously
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong background in time series forecasting and reinforcement learning
- Experience handling high variability datasets
- Proficiency in adjusting model parameters and reward functions
- Ability to develop robust continuous learning systems
Focus on improving Mean Absolute Error (MAE) as the performance metric.
