Job Description
We are developing a culturally-aware dating application targeting African and diaspora markets. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile QA Tester to rigorously test our MVP before beta and public launch.
This is not a generic application. Trust, matching accuracy, chat reliability, subscription integrity, and user safety are critical. The goal of this engagement is to identify bugs, logic flaws, performance issues, and any misleading or broken paid features.
Scope of Work
The QA tester will be responsible for:
Functional testing (registration, profiles, matching, chat)
Subscription and paywall testing
Notification reliability testing
Stress testing of chat and matching features
Detection of misleading, inconsistent, or broken paid features
Detailed bug reporting with reproducible steps
Required Experience (Mandatory)
Proven experience testing consumer mobile applications
Experience with dating, social, or matchmaking apps
Android testing across multiple OS versions and devices
Professional bug reporting using tools such as Jira, Trello, Linear, or equivalent
Ability to provide screenshots and screen recordings
Deliverables
Daily bug reports
Mid-test QA summary report
Final QA report with severity classification
Retest confirmation after fixes
