We are reaching out from Pump Academy Private Limited, based in Indiranagar, Bangalore. Our flagship product, iPUMPNET, is an advanced IIoT-based pump monitoring system designed for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and analytics for industrial water pumping stations.
We are looking for a software testing agency with proven experience in industrial IoT solutions to conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of the iPUMPNET application. The system architecture includes:
• Cloud-based web platform for device management, alarm handling, analytics, and remote configuration (ReactJS, NET Core, MS-SQL Database)
• Mobile app interface for notifications, remote monitoring, and on-field maintenance support
• Edge device application for data acquisition, device control, and secure sensor communication (.NET, MQTT, HTTPS)
• APIs for third-party integrations and enterprise data exchange
Technical Requirements in Scope:
In addition to standard software testing practices, we require the testing partner to have an understanding of the following:
• Verification of data accuracy, logging, and alerting mechanisms from field devices to the cloud dashboard
• Experience with testing scenarios involving fault simulation (e.g., power failure, pump trips, sensor faults) and proper handling within the application
• Validation of remote command and control functions (e.g., start/stop pumps, acknowledge alarms)
• Security testing for secure device onboarding, encrypted communication, and user role-based access
• Real-time and historical data analytics validation for predictive maintenance and efficiency monitoring
• Assessment of system performance in typical industrial network environments, including offline and low-connectivity scenarios
• Good to have if Familiarity with water pumping station operations and associated sensors (flow, pressure, level, power, etc.)
General Testing Scope:
• Functional and non-functional testing across web, mobile, and edge components
• System integration and API testing
• Performance, load, and scalability assessments
• Usability and user experience reviews
• Automated and manual test case design and execution
We are specifically seeking a partner who can demonstrate structured test methodologies, a strong technical understanding of industrial electricals and water pumping systems, and a track record with similar IIoT/cloud-based projects.
