Junior QA Developer & Tester
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
The application is already feature-complete; what remains is a solid round of quality assurance to catch edge cases before release. My main priority is testing and QA, with a balanced mix of hands-on exploratory sessions and automated regression suites.
You will spend part of the day manually exercising the UI, APIs and database interactions, documenting any anomalies in a concise, reproducible way. The other part will involve writing and maintaining automated scripts—preferably in Java or Python—so future builds stay clean. I have no hard requirement on tools, so feel free to bring whichever stack you are comfortable with; Selenium WebDriver, JUnit and TestNG have all been used on similar projects here and would slot in nicely.
Deliverables
• A clear test plan covering functional, edge-case and regression scenarios
• Automated scripts checked into the repo with readable assertions and comments
• A concise defect log that includes environment, steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results
• A short final report summarising coverage achieved and remaining risks
Acceptance criteria
• All critical paths automated and green in CI
• Zero high-severity bugs left open after retest
• Documentation is sufficient for another developer to extend the suite without hand-holding
With well-written test artefacts and reliable automation in place, the codebase will be ready for a smooth production rollout.
