Senior Backend / Real-Time Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a senior backend-heavy full-stack developer to build a real-time, server-authoritative web application from scratch.

This role is backend focused. Frontend is minimal and secondary.

Core Responsibilities

Design and build a real-time backend using Node.js

Implement Socket.IO / WebSockets for live multi-user interactions

Ensure backend-authoritative logic (no client-side trust)

Handle concurrency, race conditions, and state synchronization

Prepare the system for horizontal scaling (Redis, load balancer ready)

Required Experience

Strong experience with Node.js

Proven work with real-time systems (Socket.IO / WebSockets)

Experience handling high concurrency

Knowledge of Redis (state, locks, pub/sub)

Understanding of scalable backend architecture

Nice to Have

Experience with multiplayer or collaborative applications

Experience designing APIs for future mobile apps

Familiarity with Docker and basic cloud infrastructure
