AlmaLinux IPB CPU Spike Fix
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m running an Invision Community (IPB) forum on AlmaLinux 9.
Ever since a recent round of updates : Upgrade of CyberPanel and convert of some tables to InnoDB, the processor randomly locks at 100 % and stays there.
I need a seasoned Linux/LiteSpeed administrator who can:
• Pinpoint and eliminate the root cause of the CPU spike.
• Comb through system, LiteSpeed, Redis and MySQL logs for any related errors or warnings.
• Optimise the stack (LiteSpeed tuning, Redis config, MySQL parameters, kernel limits, etc.) so the forum runs smoothly under normal traffic.
Acceptance criteria
– Average CPU usage returns to normal levels (idle ≥ 20 %) during a 24-hour observation window.
– No recurring critical errors in the logs.
– You provide a brief report outlining the issue, the fixes applied, and any configuration changes.
SSH root access is ready; Actually website is unavailable so it's an emergency.
Thanks
