Recruitment & Onboarding HR Assistant
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an experienced HR professional to keep our recruitment pipeline moving smoothly from the moment a vacancy opens until each new hire is fully onboarded. Your focus will be exclusively on recruitment and onboarding, so day-to-day employee relations, payroll or benefits aren’t in scope.
Here is what the role covers:
• Draft and post compelling job ads on the major boards we already use, then source additional candidates through LinkedIn and niche sites when needed.
• Screen résumés, run the first-round video or phone interviews, and keep clear notes in our ATS so hiring managers can jump straight into the second round.
• Coordinate calendars, send interview confirmations, and maintain prompt, friendly candidate communication throughout the process.
• Prepare offer letters, collect new-hire paperwork, and guide each successful candidate through a structured first-week orientation checklist.
I’m after a mid-level assistant—someone who has already managed these steps end to end, is comfortable with tools such as Workable or BambooHR, and can suggest small process improvements rather than needing ground-up training.
Success is simple: every open position is filled on time with fully onboarded talent and no candidate feels forgotten along the way.
