Recruit Hajj/Umrah Interviewees in Astana, Kazakhstan - A study by Saudi Haj and Umrah Ministry
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We have a qualitative study coming up and we need a local partner in Astana, Kazakhstan who can quickly recruit 12 suitable respondents—six for each of two online focus-groups.
What we need you to do
• Identify and screen residents of Kazakhstan, males & females 30-55 years old, who have been to Hajj or Umrah in past 2 years
– Group 1: completed Hajj in 2025 (a few may have travelled in late 2024) through a government authority or any recognised Hajj/Umrah agency.
– Group 2: completed Umrah in 2025 (again, late 2024 is acceptable) booked through an agent.
• Secure six confirmed participants per group.
• Source them primarily through community centres or mosques—as this is our preferred route—though you can add other creative channels if that helps you hit quota on time.
• Deliver a clean participant list with contact details and screening answers no later than the agreed deadline. You will have to gather the participants at the prescribed date and time in a hotel banquet or the seminar room of the mosque for online interview
Logistics already arranged
Sessions will run on Zoom, last maximum 90 minutes, and include simultaneous translation. Links, moderator, translation and English-language transcripts are all handled on our side; your sole focus is recruitment and scheduling.
Acceptance criteria
1. All 12 participants meet the exact profile above.
2. Show rate of at least 10/12 on the day—replacements required for any drop-outs.
3. Full participant grid delivered in Excel/Google Sheet, verified and ready for client review.
If you have an existing network within Kazakh Islamic communities or experience recruiting for religious travel studies, this should be straightforward. Let’s discuss timelines and any questions you may have.
PS: Please note that someone from our team will personally travel to moderate the interview
