Non-profit raising capital to purchase land
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My non-profit hearts for the homeless is looking to raise capital to purchase land. To do so I have come up with the idea to offer promissory contracts for fifty 20 acre parcels at $75,000 dollars per parcel in an upfront payment at the contract signing. The land is undeveloped timber in the Missouri Ozarks and can be good grazing ground if the trees are cleared out. It is also good hunting ground for deer and turkey. There are lots of natural springs in the property so everyone should be able to have their own water well.
This also presents the opportunity to the Amish to start a whole new Amish community and in doing so would help Hearts for the homeless purchase land and raise funds for homeless outreach.
Once the land is purchased the non-profit would then have 1000 acres subdivided into 20 acre parcels and parcels would be distributed out on a first come first served choice basis. Hearts for the homeless will also assume all financial responsibility related to closing fees at the transfer of deed.
I need this to sound as appealing and not confusing as possible for the Amish and it needs to be a flyer that I will hand out to Amish communities.
