I need help locating and securing a studio‐size apartment in the Dortmund-Bochum area that meets a few non-negotiables: no up-front deposit, Anmeldung is accepted, and the landlord issues the Wohnungsgeberbestätigung right away. Rent has to be as low as legally possible for the market.
My stay will be medium-term—around six to twelve months—so sublets, interim leases or “möbliertes Wohnen auf Zeit” are welcome as long as they tick every box above. The place must come furnished and have on-site or in-unit laundry facilities. Parking is optional
What I expect from you
• A shortlist of verified listings that satisfy the criteria, ideally with links, photos, monthly rent, move-in date and any one-time fees spelled out.
• Confirmation that each landlord is willing to issue the Wohnungsgeberbestätigung and waive the Kaution.
• Support in contacting the landlords (email or phone) and, if needed, translating key details into English.
