Mobile App Developer Needed – OCR Expense & Travel Claims App (Android & iOS)

I am seeking an experienced mobile app developer or small team to build a mobile-first expense and travel claims application for Android and iOS.

The app will allow users to:

Capture receipts and odometer readings using the phone camera

Automatically extract amounts, VAT, dates, and kilometers using OCR

Create and manage travel and expense claims

Group claims into trips

Export claims as CSV + receipts ZIP and SARS logbook format

Download or email exports

This project is fully specified, including detailed requirements, UX flows, wireframes, sitemap, and a clickable prototype. The role is focused on implementation, not product design.

Requirements

Proven experience with React Native (Expo) or Flutter

OCR integration experience (e.g., Google Vision, AWS Textract, Tesseract)

Backend development experience (Node.js or equivalent)

Experience with file uploads, CSV/ZIP exports, and mobile APIs

Deliverables

Working Android & iOS app

Backend API and OCR integration

Export functionality (CSV, ZIP, SARS logbook)

Source code and deployment documentation
