Web & Mobile Insurance MVP
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
We are building the first-run MVP of a digital insurance product for the Indian market and I need a full-stack developer who can take it all the way from architecture to production on both web and mobile. The heart of the job is stitching together airtight data-privacy controls, robust third-party API connections, and a fully automated claims-processing workflow that respects Indian insurance norms.
Data privacy comes first. Every user action must stay encrypted at rest and in transit, permissions need to be role-based, and logs should be tamper-evident so we can pass eventual IRDAI scrutiny without a scramble.
On the workflow side, we will start with claims processing only: FNOL capture, document upload, rules engine for straight-through processing, and hand-off to an adjuster when exceptions pop up. The system has to plug into insurer APIs for policy verification and payment triggers, plus common KYC and GST services. Anything that isn’t standards-based should still expose REST/JSON endpoints so we can swap partners later.
I already have low-fidelity wireframes and domain models ready. What I now need is working code that:
• Renders seamlessly on modern browsers and a cross-platform mobile framework (React Native, Flutter or similar)
• Implements the privacy features above out of the box
• Integrates at least three external APIs (insurer validation, KYC, and payment)
• Automates claims processing end-to-end, including status updates and notifications
• Is dockerised and deploys cleanly to AWS or GCP with CI/CD
Acceptance criteria: a live web URL, corresponding mobile builds uploaded to TestFlight/Google Play internal testing, and a short technical handover doc.
If this sounds like a challenge you’d enjoy, tell me which stack you plan to use and how you’ll keep PHI and PII safe while still moving fast.
