UkDrive React Native Booking App

I’m building the first version of UkDrive and need a React Native application focused squarely on ride-booking. At this stage the core I’m after is a smooth booking flow that lets passengers arrange Scheduled, Instant, or Recurring rides and allows drivers to receive, accept, and manage those requests in real time.

Scope
• Two distinct log-in experiences—Passenger and Driver—sharing a single code-base.
• Booking workflow covering address search, ride type selection (scheduled / instant / recurring), fare preview, and confirmation.
• Driver side queue with live updates when a new request matches their status and location.
• Basic trip status handling: pending, accepted, on-route, completed, cancelled.

I expect clean, well-commented React Native code with state handled via Context API or Redux, and REST or GraphQL endpoints wired in a way that makes future payment processing easy to bolt on. You’re free to suggest Firebase, AWS Amplify, or another scalable backend if that speeds delivery.

Acceptance criteria
1. Passenger can create any of the three ride types in under 5 taps.
2. Driver receives the request instantly and can accept/decline; passenger is notified within two seconds.
3. Both roles see status updates without manual refresh.
4. Build runs smoothly on the latest Android and iOS simulators and produces release-ready APK/IPA files.
