Skilled React Native Engineer Needed
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 AUD
We are seeking a skilled Mobile App (React Native) Engineer for our ed tech startup based in Australia. You will be working with our CTO with more than 20 years of experience.
As a Mobile App Engineer, you will be responsible for developing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. Your primary focus will be on creating user-friendly, high-performance apps that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Work closely with the product development team to iterate on user feedback and continuously improve our mobile applications.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Implement engineering practices to increase the quality of the mobile applications and improve engineering productivity.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable software.
- Optimise app performance to ensure a seamless and performance user experience for our customers.
- Integrate third-party APIs and native modules as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building mobile applications with React Native.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with native build tools, like Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with mobile app deployment processes (App Store, Google Play).
- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Duration: 6 months (subject to extension based on project requirement)
