Scalable Web & Mobile App Development with React Native

Job ID: 36915599

Budget: $700 – $800 USD

This post is geared towards developers who are comfortable working in Indian Standard Time.

This is NOT a job for agencies. If you are an agency, or you represent an agency where the work will be done by a resource given by a company that will upcharge for their time, please do not apply. Also, if we decide there is a need for an extra junior developer, we can source that developer. We do not need an agency to source them. This is a position for one senior developer working independently. You must be working with us full time while the project is ongoing.

If you do good work, this will probably turn into a multi phase project with months, maybe years of work, with a higher budget. But you must prove yourself during this project for that relationship to be built.

Freelancers only.

Hi.

I am looking for a Senior Software Developer to collaborate with me on a Full-stack development project. I am seeking someone with experience in working with these technologies: JavasScript/TypeScript, React(next.js)+ React Native(expo), Redux, SQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Microservices. I am ready to start this project as soon as possible.

Budget:

The budget for this job is 60,000 + 5,000 Indian Rupees for approximately 220 + 16 hours of commitment and it will last 5-6 weeks. Since this is a senior position, you will be responsible for deliverables and during the design phase we must finalize the milestones and the deadlines. If you choose to accept the job after passing the interview and learning about the project, we will have the design phase.

Make sure to ask all your questions about the project (we have a detailed description of the project and its scope, so the milestones are clear and there is little ambiguity about what is expected of you). Before moving on to the next phase, we will need to be on the same page, and communication is essential at this stage.

The design phase will be commissioned for 16 hours for 5,000 Indian Rupees. This is for the design of the architecture. The main goal for this phase is to design the architecture for the application that you can stand by and is deliverable within the timeframe.

You must be experienced with system design, scalability, load balancing, server architecture, CDNs, caching, parallelism, latency reduction, distributed systems, MVC architecture, microservices, orchestration, Cloud (AWS), CI/CD automation, database management, database recovery, and database migration, git, and deployment to IOS as well as the web.

You must know how to implement auth and manage access controls securely in production.

For the front end you must be experienced in complex state management in distributed systems (to prevent data corruption), data flow management and architecture for data flow, handling middleware, and state optimization for optimization of re-renders.

We do not care about what college you came from or what your accolades are. We care about your actual ability to design and implement a scalable architecture.

Real life experience in production level code is necessary. Knowledge of the roadblocks that may be faced when dealing with a large number of concurrent database requests that are constantly updating the database is required. Knowledge of industry standard best practices is required.

This is not a position where you will be "trying things and learning on the job." You are expected to be an authority on these technologies and have vast working knowledge in these areas that you can use to implement features with minimal trouble. Work will be fast paced and hands on. Therefore, while there is no hard requirement on the number of years of experience, this is a job only for those who have substantial experience with the items listed above. You will be required to design architecture and implement the most complex parts of the code. You will have junior engineers helping you to develop parts of the application but you will be expected to give the final green signals for the code to go into production.

Do not try to bluff your way into the job citing experience you do not have.

You will be required to test the servers and overload them for scalability. You will also be required to test all the features and make sure they are working as intended.

While this is a fully remote job, it is fast paced and you will be expected to do standups every day and hit the deadlines we set together for the progress of the project. There is a strict deadline for this first phase and we must not miss it.

The budget for this phase is non-negotiable.

If you have read the job description, please start your reply with:

This works for me and I also certify that I will be working independently on this project without the attachment of any agency. I am available to work full time on this project in a fast paced environment.

If you want to stand out from other applicants and get an immediate interview, please answer these questions:
