Salesforce Field Agent Tracking App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a cross-platform mobile application, fully integrated with our Salesforce org, that lets me see where my field agents are at any moment and capture their activity in real time. The app must run smoothly on both iOS and Android and authenticate with Salesforce (OAuth) so users log in with their existing credentials.
Core workflow
• Agents open the app, allow GPS, and their live location streams to Salesforce.
• A single Map view plots every active agent, auto-refreshing as positions change.
• When agents arrive at or leave a site, they tap Check-in or Check-out; these actions create (or update) a custom object record tied to the account, case, or work order we specify.
• Managers can pull quick, on-device reports and analytics that summarise time on site, distance travelled, and visit frequency without leaving the app.
Deliverables
1. Source-controlled mobile code (Salesforce Mobile SDK, React Native or similar)
2. Salesforce components: custom objects/fields, Apex or Flow logic, permission sets
3. Deployment instructions plus a short video walkthrough demonstrating:
– live location updates on the Map view
– successful check-in/out record creation
– sample analytics dashboard loading correctly on the handset
Once handed over, I should be able to package the release through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing, connect it to our sandbox, and promote to production with minimal tweaks.
